When it comes to writing, I’ve got you covered — no matter the topic.

In my 11 years as a reporter, writer and editor, I’ve covered a vast range of topics, including (but certainly not limited to) nuclear power, home remodeling, wedding photography, aquatics, basic science research, and collegiate athletics.

I can take an idea from inception through execution, and I’m well-versed in journalistic ethics and practices. (Though I will say, I’m a staunch supporter of the Oxford comma, no matter what AP says about it.)

Editing & Proofreading

 

Your content is drafted and well on its way, but you want a set of expert eyes before calling it good. I’m ready to take your draft and polish it to perfection.

I’m a stickler for proper grammar, punctuation and word usage (just ask my fiancé, who is regularly corrected on the appropriate time to use “less” vs. “fewer”), and an expert at spotting even the tiniest of typos.

I’m also trained in best practices for SEO, helping to ensure your website or other online content gets the traffic you need.

I use a three-step process when editing and proofing to ensure that nothing slips past me, so you can be confident your work will be error-free when it returns to you.

I launched my first podcast in 2019 as part of my role at Pro Remodeler magazine: "Women at WiRC", a podcast for and about the women of remodeling and construction. I took the show from concept to creation and launch, and I’m proud that it has been continued by subsequent (amazing) editors at Pro Remodeler.
