From profiling nuclear scientists to investigating the most sustainable roofing options, I've collected a wonderfully wide array of writing experiences. I grew up a bookworm outside of Chicago, and went on to the University of Michigan (BA) and Medill at Northwestern (MS) to geek out about English and journalism even further. Now I live in Kalamazoo, Michigan, with my husband, daughter and our 14 year old cat, Ollivander. When I'm not writing, I spin a different kind of yarn working through an endless list of adorable crochet patterns.
